Numberwang — the nonsense maths game

The maths quiz that everyone loves to play — a light-hearted homage to the famous sketch. Two contestants, a board of numbers, and a host who decides what's Numberwang. Best not to ask how. A daft, no-prep bit of fun for the end of a lesson.

How to use it, who it's for & FAQ

      How to use it

      1. Enter two contestants' names (optional) and how many Numberwangs win the game.
      2. Press “Let's play Numberwang!” — players take turns choosing a number on the board.
      3. The host announces whether it's Numberwang — on no logic at all, which is the point.
      4. Watch for “Rotate the board!” and “Wangernumb!”. First to the target is the champion.

      Who it's for

      • Teachers: a daft, no-stakes end-of-lesson treat that gets the whole class shouting numbers.
      • Fans of the sketch: a playable tribute to the maths game show that makes no sense whatsoever.
      • Anyone: a quick, silly two-player game for a bit of a laugh.

      FAQ

      How is Numberwang decided?

It isn't — that's the joke. The host's verdict is completely random, just like the sketch. There's no maths skill involved; it's pure nonsense and good fun.

      Is this the official Numberwang?

No — it's an original, unofficial homage made for a laugh. It doesn't use any material from the show; it just borrows the daft spirit of the sketch.

      How many can play?

Two contestants (or two teams calling out), racing to reach the target number of Numberwangs first.

      Is it free and private?

Completely — no ads, no sign-up, and it works offline once loaded.
